Robert Götzfried from Munich, Germany, is a photographer and designer that works have been published internationally by famous news outlets like CNN, The New York Times, Bloomberg, and many more.
He is also a passionate traveler who has photographed many countries and one of them in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where he fell in love with the city. He was wandering the streets often at night and created a photo series called “Phnom Penh Nights” was created.
Götzfried spent more time taking pictures of the city’s streets at night and captured it as an abandoned place. “It’s the way that I imagine how it looked like in the 70’s after most of the people were forced to leave their homes after the Khmer Rouge took over the city of Phnom Penh,” he says.
