]]>She combines Math and art to turn flat surfaces into amazing 3D illusions. Her works are extremely detailed, rhythmic and symmetrical, inspired by mathematical graphs and equations. She delicately hand-draws each art using pens and markers.
“I’m currently influenced heavily by topography and the relationship between 2D, perpendicular planes, and their distortions into 3D space,” she told My Modern Met.
The Los Angeles-based artist mostly uses a combination of straight and curved lines, in black and white canvas. The straight lines are drawn with pointed angles to create a 3D space, while curved lines are used to show dips and peaks. Her other works include elongated lines that look like loops of thread, hand-drawn triangles, and other bizarre shapes and patterns.
