]]>Run by British photographer Miles Herbert, Captivelight Photography organizes workshops that are aimed at people who want to learn the best way to photograph members of the animal world like birds, reptiles, and rodents. However, these tuitions end up not only helping amateur photographers but also result in great photographs. That’s how we ended up with adorable photos of mice in tulips.
“These harvest Mice were photographed in an indoor studio,” – Herbert told Bored Panda. “We provide a service for photographers looking for high impact pictures of the animals, and using a purpose-built studio means that we are not weather dependent. There is also an option to photograph animals outside if the client wishes, our other specialty is frogs!”

]]>“All the dogs have been groomed in a Japanese grooming style,” Chon says. “Japanese dog grooming does not follow the rules of traditional, breed-standard grooming. In fact, it only has one mission ― to bring out the dogs’ individual personalities and make them look as adorable as possible! With extreme attention to detail and careful consideration of a pup’s best attributes, Japanese dog groomers and salons achieve the perfect transformations by forgetting the uniform looks and getting creative.”
The series is also available as a book titled Puppy Styled.

]]>Since 2014, she has created around 500 portraits of pit bulls in an attempt to show that they are just like any other dogs. “They need proper care, training and socialization,” Gamand emphasizes. “Unfortunately, because of their bad image, they have the false reputation of being more dangerous than other dogs, hence attracting irresponsible primary owners who are looking for a “scary dog”, and seek to develop those traits in them. Pit bulls’ downfall is to be exactly the way we created them: strong and loyal. With this series, I wonder if art is a tool powerful enough it can change pit bulls’ fate.”
