]]> Bruno Pontiroli is a Paris-based artist who enjoys conveying his absurd and paradox visions of the world into his works. His latest series of paintings is especially intriguing, as it features surrealistic scenes of animals doing yoga and exercises.  In Pontiroli’s works, cows are able to do impressive hand standups while rhinos don’t have an issue balancing on their tail.

“My aim is turn the narrow vision that we have of the world upside down and disturb our imagination while shaking an accepted reality with images that are as comprehensible as they are familiar.” – the artist says about his works. “Distorting a symbol or mixing opposing universes allows me to question the identity of things so that I can reinvent them.”
