Creative design manager and artist Nia Gould (previously here) is quite popular on Instagram for her cat-related art. Gould is now releasing a book titled A History of Art in 21 Cats that is coming out on February 21.

Maria Chernakova, also known as Mary Komary, created this pop-up version of one of her favorite books, The Book of Barely Imagined Beings by Caspar Henderson.

The book is basically a guide to the real animal natural history and it covers animals that are so fantastic they seem mythological. Chernakova’s interpretation includes plenty of pop-ups, charts, and hand-drawn illustrations. The one copy that she made is divided into two volumes and has 10 pop-up figures.
