Brian Owens, the artist from Connecticut, creates these huge oil pastel drawings of flowers that are so realistic you’ll have to look twice to make sure they are not photos. Each of his works looks like a colorful macro photo thanks to the number of details and texture the artist includes.

Reflecting on a productive year as I make the final touches to this honey and flower piece. Very excited to announce that I will have my first solo exhibition in March!!!
