There’s a new bridge outside Ba Na Hills, near Da Nang in central Vietnam that visitors are talking about.

Cau Vang (meaning gold bridge) has opened in June, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The bridge stands at 1,400 meters above sea level and extends for almost 150 meters. The golden walkway is lined with purple Lobelia Chrysanthemums. But the most breathtaking design will have to be the giant pair of hands “holding” the bridge up and with a weathered effect, creating the illusion of antiquity.

The amazing structure was created by TA Landscape Architecture. The hands may look like they are made of stone but actually, they’re not. “We designed the skeleton of the hands and covered them with steel meshes,” a rep told Bored Panda. “Then we finished with fiberglass and added the theming on it. The entire construction of the bridge took about a year.”

The bridge is part of a $2 billion investment to bring more tourists to Vietnam. The country has more than 1.5 million visitors every year and they want to attract even more with this project. The Golden Bridge will likely become a famous tourist destination in Vietnam as travelers are already enjoying not only the majestic view but also taking photos of themselves as if they were walking in the clouds.
