One musician wanted to pay tribute to the show by turning its famous theme song into a ‘90-style heavy metal ballad.

His name is Chase Holfelder and he has over half a million Youtube subscribers. “I’m the guy who creates minor key covers of major key songs. Taylor Swift once tweeted about me. Please subscribe,” he writes in the about section of his Youtube channel.

“In light of the terrible news that Friends will soon be leaving Netflix, I made a sad, minor-key version of the theme song,” Holfelder wrote next to the video.
