Halloween is definitely one of the most loved holidays and, nowadays, it is celebrated worldwide. Both kids and adults love dressing up in cute or scary costumes.

The same happened in the city of Kawasaki, Japan, as well, where around 2,000 people in costumes marched the streets, and over 120,000 excited spectators enjoyed the 22nd annual Parade. Ghosts, witches, vampires and other frightening creatures showed off their outfits on the streets. However, a group of art-loving participants who choose to dress as famous paintings has stolen the show.

Vincent van Gogh’s self-portrait, Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Edvard Munch’s Scream, Pablo Picasso’s The Weeping Woman, Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring and even “Beast Jesus”—the comically botched restoration of a fresco painting that recently became Internet-famous walked down the streets of Kawai. They also wore gold frames with painted backgrounds which completed the look.
