]]>Kakuho Fujii’s animal sculptures measure between 2 and 5 millimeters, and it takes a day to complete a single miniature. He uses resin clay and thin needle to make his figures and he works with extreme precision with no room for error.
“It was by accident that I came up with the idea of creating these microscale clay dolls. I just wondered to what extent I could reduce the size while keeping my own style of clay art. Currently, 5mm diameter is sort of my comfort zone,” Fujii told Living It.
