Every cat owner, no matter how many furry friends he has, will agree with the statement that cats belong only to themselves. So you either love them to the Moon and back or simply just hate them, no middle. Which party do you belong to?

Meanwhile, Malaysian self-taught illustrator Lim Heng Swee adores cats and describes them as mysterious animals with great personalities. So he made a series of landscapes where cats play the main role.

“I always feel soothed when observing their postures, and I found that the curves of cats can perfectly blend into natural landscape scenes,” the artist shared on Bored Panda and hopes that people will enjoy his colorful artwork “with a touch of a sense of humor”.

The illustrations he created will play with your brain and you will have to look twice to find the cat in the picture. They’re pretty much an optical illusion!

Scroll down and take a look at his artwork below. Which one is your favorite?

Lim Heng Swee is a talented illustrator and graphic designer who created animal puns to cheer up those people that are sad at the moment. His mantra, “Doodling A Smile,” which aims to make people smile more in their life, is reflected in his wholesome and adorable artworks.

“I always think that positive energy is overrated, sometimes we need to be true to yourself. It’s ok to be sad, moody, frustrated sometimes, all we need to do is rest, do nothing, be quiet a little while. The negative feeling will be digesting through time. At the time when we healed, we know we will be a better and happier person,” he wrote on Bored Panda.
