As a tribute to the Centre Pompidou – the museum in Paris that inspired Nike designer Tinker Hatfield to develop Nike Air Max 1 in the late 80s – the group transformed the iconic shoes into 3D sculpture of its Parisian model.  The design was nearly similar to the inside-out architectural elements of the museum, which was designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers in the 1970s.

The agency also created 3D illustrations of other Air Max models: Nike Air Max 90, which was built entirely out of speaker stacks, and Nike Air Max 95, which they developed to resemble the human anatomy. The anatomical features were the inspiration of the shoe designer Sergio Lozano about 23 years ago.
