]]> British sculptor Debbie Lawson has a bit of a different idea of magic carpets than the rest of us. In her works, wild animals emerge from old Persian rugs, creating a mystical image.

Of course, this is just illusion, since Lawson creates animals from scratch and then places them in front of an identical rug, giving the impression that the animal is appearing from that same rug. Still, it looks impressive, as you can see from the photos below.
