]]> French photographer Phillipe Echaroux is trying to make us aware of humanity’s dangerous impact on nature. Echaroux projects images of the Brazilian Surui tribe, led by Chief Almir Surui Narayamoga, on the Amazonian rainforest trees. The projected images help demonstrate the deep connection between the rainforest and its inhabitants. That sort of connection is something that we all need to learn from. Amazonian tribes respect the nature and live in accordance with it.

The photos that Echaroux are of the members of the tribe that have been working to replant and protect its section of the rainforest. Each member that is presented is a hero who entered into a battle with the powerful industries who use the Amazonian resources and don’t give anything in return, except for massive pollution.

Echaroux’s project has a very deep message and is a real example of how art can help us realize what we’re doing good and which of our actions need to be criticized.
