]]>A few months ago, Scadarts posted an illustration of Obi-Wan Kenobi in which he reimagined the Star Wars character as some of the famous historic military generals. The creation quickly drew attention from the fans of the franchise, who responded with an overwhelmingly positive reaction.
After receiving encouraging feedback, Scadarts decided to turn this into a full project and create a series of illustrations that feature Star Wars characters invading classical artworks. This included Baby Yoda replacing Adam in Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam” and Jar Jar Binks starring in Edvard Munch’s “The Scream.”
What makes his pieces so beautiful is that he’s showing how art overlaps in a multitude of ways, as well as the idea that everyone interprets movies in their own way. With his art, Scadarts is showing us what Star Wars means to him.
