]]>“I’ve been making and posting comics about my mental health struggles for a few years now, but they have always been three-panel, text-post strips without visuals,” the teacher shared on Bored Panda. “I’ve just never been able to draw. A few months ago, however, I started drawing anyway, just pen on paper, and have since made daily comics about everything from indecisiveness to issues with body-image.”
In his work, Raymond also includes topics such as perfectionism, insomnia, paranoia, and much more. He shares his creations on his Instagram account called I Am Sitting, where he has attracted over 40 thousand followers.
“I post a lot on Instagram and people have really responded,” he added. “It’s been so nice. I’m filled with gratitude. I hope I can keep making things that resonate with people and that help them feel less alone.”

]]>Martin Rosner is an artist who recently started his comics project, but his brilliant humor comes from a deep, dark place.
“This whole thing started because I decided to make a comic a day for two months straight,” Martin revealed. “I was severely depressed for two years and failed two colleges but thanks to therapy, meds and a lot of work on myself I’m doing much better. Making these comics to me is like being able to say to my depression, ‘even with you in the way I am still able to make something.’”
“I try to be open about depression, I know it always helps to know that you’re not the only one struggling,” he continued. “Getting it out of my system is a great help. People reacting positively to me sharing my feelings is even better. I feel like I make a tiny connection with others. Just a tiny one but it is there.”
