]]>Fuku-chan is the red cat and his brown tabby companion is Daikichi. These two furballs were abandoned as kittens, but their life turned around once Nagasawa adopted them.
The cats’ traveling adventures started in 2011. Nagasawa was often away due to his work and would usually leave them in the pet care. However, one day he decided to take his pets with him on a tour around Japan. He adapted a stroller and a backpack to fit the needs of his four-legged companions and they were ready to soak up the beauty of Japan.
Ever since they hit the road, Daikichi and Fuku-Chan have visited 47 prefectures and more than 1,000 destinations. Their adventures are all documented and posted on Instagram, where The Traveling Cats have amassed more than 8,000 followers.

Fuku-chan says, "I wanna catch the pair of fish on the roof
