Promoting Artfashion now is like a fighting with a system. On the one side is Fast Fashion with its cheap bad quality printed clothes. On the other side is influencers and celebrities with their merchandise (mostly boring slogan printed clothes) . And here is me saying that you can make your own exclusive print , and even if you are not an artist you can write whatever you want , splatter paint, make a couple of brushstrokes and you won't look same like all other thousands of people. I know system doesn't want me πŸ˜„ And it will take a lot of time for me to encourage people to buy fabric paints. Where to find inspiration? I get it from movies, music videos, some random images on internet. Actually you can turn everything into design, you should just be open for new ideas. Firts of all of course artist should know how to paint 😁 But it is not the important skillπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ In the era of social media artist should know how to present his artwork, how to take pics and edit them, how to make videos. Also artist should know marketing. And this is even more important than to know how to paint. Actually you don't have to know how to paint to be a famous artist πŸ˜„ You should have a good PR team 😜 Yes that is the truth artistic skills don't guarantee you anything. Even you are a super talented artist you can struggle to sell you artworks. And even now is much more opportunities to reach people and sell than before, the competition is higher too.And in oversaturated market you should really stand out to be noticed . So to be artist is still quite challenging.
