]]> Have you ever wondered what creativity will be like in the next few years? From time to time, new concepts of designs keep coming. Unlike decades ago, creativity is given more expression in our present time.

The images displayed here are those of a graphic designer and at the same time a photographer. He is known on Instagram as “paperboyo”, and he’s got numerous designs to his credit. More of his works can be seen in his gallery via his Instagram account.

He takes nice shots of the environment, and then adds his own designs to them, to give the image an entirely different look. As a creative designer, he sees beyond the shots he takes and sees something else that he could make of the objects. In all, these are not 100% designs; neither are they 100% photos. These are images of reality mixed up with designs.

They look really amazing!

Right in the heart of Shinjuku there's a massive Penguin- well I see it as a Penguin but it's meant to look like a Cocoon. It's Mode Gakuen's vertical university campus and the design was inspired around the concept of an incubator like space where students grow, transform and then flutter off into the world (metaphorically I'm guessing…unless they're being taught some kinda revolutionary flying technique in class. Imagine that on graduation day, instead of throwing their caps in the air they throw themselves in the air!) I digress. Where was I going with this? Oh yeah- Cool building, cool concept, cool design but just once can someone, somewhere please build a massive Penguin. K'Thanks. Back in 1998 France loaned Japan their Statue of Liberty (from it's home in Paris) to celebrate Franco-Japanese ties. The Statue went back home in 1999 but it was so popular that a replica was made so now she's here permanently in Tokyo. There's also a Statue of Liberty in Las Vegas which, in 2010, the US Postal Service mistook for the real one in New York and printed on it's stamps. However it's not an exact replica so the artist behind the sculpture, believing his statue's features to be different enough, sued the US Postal Service for illegally using his design. A federal court agreed with him and ordered the post office pay him $3.5m in compensation! So to make sure I don't get in any copyright trouble I've embellished this one here in Tokyo with my own design 🗽#TokyoTokyo @TokyoTokyoOldMeetsNew #StatueOfLiberty #Odaiba #ad
