]]> Finding a good apartment in New York City doesn’t come cheap. But as it turns out, even bad apartments are quite costly, as a recent viral video posted by realtor David Okocha shows.

Okocha recently gave his Instagram followers a tour of an apartment in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood that is in the running for having the “worst layout” he ever seen.

Right off the bat, it becomes obvious that whoever designed the apartment didn’t have comfort in mind. The shower is shockingly close to the front door while also being basically part of the kitchen. To make it worse, it isn’t actually a shower but a small semi-open cubicle with a shower head planted on the wall and a drain on the floor.

Furthermore, the toilet doesn’t have a sink or a light, while the kitchen looks like it was randomly put together in the worst place possible. But that isn’t the best part. Despite everything, the owner still feels comfortable asking for a whopping price of $3,495 per month.

It is safe to say that internet users were shocked by what they’ve seen and made sure to show it in the comments section.

“Jail for everyone involved,” one user commented.

“That price doesn’t leave much leftover for therapy because of the depression you’ll get for living here,” another added.

]]> Jessica Fimbel Willis is a Boston-based designer, illustrator, and letterer who draws all of her favorite places and things to do in New York City. Her project Draw My NYC began in 2018 after she moved out of the city.

“I loved the city and felt like I needed to give a special shout out to some of my favorite spots,” Jessica wrote on her personal website. “After the success of the series, I have been debating growing it into a zine or small book. The response has been amazing and humbling, and I am happy I get to share my NYC with so many people.”

In her career she has worked with many big brand names such as Slice, Taïm, Le Pain Quotidien, Joe Coffee Company, Pret A Manger, Life Hotel and Free & Above.

I’ve been so excited to post this New York gem for my #DrawMyNYC series. Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite bar, Professor Thom’s. I fell in love with @professorthoms the first time I walked in – it’s a New Englander’s haven in the middle of New York City. Filled with @patriots and @redsox memorabilia and rowdy fans, it brought me right home. . More importantly, this bar is the reason I met my amazing husband @willisfilm. We first met on @okcupid and we realized instantly that we both had the same favorite bar, Thom’s, so we met there to watch a game together. We hit it off immediately and through the years have shared many, many beers there watching the Patriots kick some ass ❤ Five years later, we had our going away party at this same bar. It was bittersweet, but we have had so many incredible memories there. Thank you @professorthoms for making my life complete 🍻
