Her post went viral and parents started to share their child’s own term for common things. Like cauliflower can be called as “little white trees” or gloves can be named as “hand socks.” Check out the hilarious definitions of kids have in their vocabularies.
My friend’s 5-year-old just saw a crow and called it a “Halloween eagle.”

When I was little, I called Polish sausage “Polar sausage” My Mom thought it was cute, and never corrected me. When I moved out, I called her from the store, asking where the Polar sausage was? She couldn’t stop laughing. She then told me it was Polish not “Polar” laughingly.
