Self-distancing is proving to be a huge struggle for many people, and our favorite musicians are aware of how tough isolation can get during these testing times. That’s why they decided to bring some joy into our lives with a series of mini-concerts they’re performing live on social media.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin kicked off this virtual concert series called Together at Home: Global Citizen Solidarity Sessions in collaboration with the World Health Organization and Global Citizen in an attempt to unite people and give them something to get excited about while in isolation.

John Legend took part in this project right after Martin and even announced he’s working on a new album during his session. Both artists performed 30 minutes-long sets, consisting of their biggest hits and a variety of other songs requested by fans.

Legend also invited Miguel and Charlie Puth to join the fun, and we’re looking forward to seeing this new internet challenge go viral. Together at Home sessions are just the kind of thing we needed right now, especially with so many concert tours being canceled in the last few weeks.
