Claire Marie is a Welsh-born artist who now lives and works in Perth, Australia. Marie is best known for her custom hand-painted shoes with pet portraits on them. Except being a gifted artist, she also describes herself as a vegan, sunset lover, wanderer, wannabe nomad, a hippy who loves positive vibes.
“Art has always been an integral part of my life, and I have a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Visual Art,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. My favorite medium to paint in is acrylic on a variety of different objects and surfaces. My style is quite detailed and I have a passion for painting tiny works of art”.
According to Marie, she has worked on a variety of other projects, like illustrating children’s books and large murals. However, in the past 6 years, the artist has been painting animal portraits on shoes. She also has a business called The Little Treasure Company where you can purchase her merchandise.
