]]> Often times, the internet is littered with hashtags that have no significant impact on the quality of life lived by humans, but #TrashTag is quite different.

In the last few days, #TrashTag was adopted by a lot of young people. It is an inspiring hashtag that motivates young people to create pictures of a dirty environment before and after they clean it and the turnout has been shocking. Young people all over the world took up the challenge, bought boxes and garbage bags, and posted photos of themselves cleaning up their local parks, beaches, and wilderness areas. This is amazing!

The trend, which started on March 5, was made popular by Facebook user Byron Román who shared a photo of himself issuing a challenge to “bored teens” asking them to “Take a photo of an area that needs some cleaning or maintenance, then take a photo after you have done something about it, and post it.” And the rest was history!

Он попросил пользователей «главной страницы Интернета» выкладывать фотографии до и после уборки загрязнённых территорий. В комментариях предложили название для «челленджа» — #trashtag. Комментаторы выразили надежду, что движение наберёт популярность, и сравнили его с Ice Bucket Challenge по пользе, которую «челлендж» может принести обществу. Вскоре фотографии убранных пляжей и парков начали появляться в других разделах Reddit. В тот же день пользователи создали отдельный сабреддит /trashtag.

The feline’s face is outrightly heavenly – it is adorned with milky bluish eyes and luxurious dark gray fur. If not well informed you would think Merlin is a plush toy.

Merlin was made popular by his human parents, two visual artists who created an eye candy Instagram page that keep visitors hooked for hours going through Merlin’s Pictures. Merlin’s Instagram page, which is flooded with pictures of the feline has garnered over 28k followers.

]]> Verbalase, who’s real name is Adym Evans, is a beat boxer that has carved a niche for himself in the music/entertainment industry – he has been performing in the new York City subway system since 2011. He hangs a mini combo speaker on his neck with a mic attached to it and wow the passengers on the train with his beat boxing skills.

He gained more clout when a popular actor posted one of his videos on hInstagram where he was seen beatboxing over the intercom at the airport with the caption “This dude is Beatboxing at the Airport?! Call me Old School… but I LOVE THIS!! The Lady on the right is like, “Sir, Can I please just get my damn ticket?!” Hahaha @verbalase”

In less than 24 hours, Will Smith posted another video showing Verbal Ase beat boxing with a stronger caption “ Okay… I’m obsessed! I had to post Back to Back. @verbalase.”

This recognition by Will Smith has more than tripled the followers of verbal Ase on Instagram and he is blowing their minds away. Go check him out!
