The post Artist Draws Undiscovered Cat Tribes That are Inspired By a Dream He Had appeared first on TettyBetty.
]]>Strazdauskas’ works show cats as different kinds of beasts compared to the traditional ways people perceive them. These cats have an imposing presence, dressed in robes and warrior clothes, with trophies taken from their enemies dangling from their necks and paws.
“I had a chance to watch this unique cats community very close – having learned about their everyday life, hunting characteristics and communication peculiarities, I have concluded that in their interior and behavior they are very similar to our cats – witty, highly curious and always looking for some adventure,” the artist shares.
After presenting the first tribe, Miiauji, Strazdauskas decided to add two more tribes to this intriguing world; Murr-guji and Muri-cati. Each one of these tribes has its own distinct origins, features, and way of life. The thing that connects them is their mystic component that Strazdauskas manages to capture with his detailed drawings.
If you want to know more about these intriguing undiscovered cat tribes, make sure to visit Strazdauskas’ website and read his stories. In the meantime, scroll below to check out more of his works.

]]>Kensington’s Instagram profile is filled with ads that encourage dogs to contact attorneys “Cambpell, Wagtail & Fetcher, attorneys at paw” if they feel they have been wronged by their humans.
“Does dad always blame you for clogging the vacuum? You might be entitled to com’paw’nsation. Shedding: your privilege, my right!” it says in one ad that features a photo of Kensington wearing a suit and sitting at the top of the robot vacuum cleaner.
Another ad sees Kensington wearing glasses and having a serious look on her face alongside a message that says: “Did your human break a treat in half and try to pass it off as a whole treat? You might be entitled to compensation.”
But Kensington doesn’t plan to stop there. It appears that she will also start making video commercials to spread the word.
“We have tons of ideas still to come, and Kensington’s ‘pawyering’ videos are coming soon. Stay tuned,” Kensington’s humans told Bored Panda in a recent interview.

]]>The post Mexican Artist Transforms Cloud Shapes Into Animal Illustrations appeared first on TettyBetty.
]]>Ascencio’s Instagram profile is full of cloud photos that have been reimagined as animals. She uses the shape of the cloud as a starting point before adding her creativity to the mix to make captivating scenes of flying dogs, elephants holding balloons, and bears chilling in a swim ring.
What makes Ascencio’s works fascinating is the fact that she usually creates them on her smartphone. When she spots a cloud that reminds her of an animal, she takes a photo and immediately starts drawing on it using a drawing app.
According to Ascencio, clouds have been capturing her imagination since she was a child, and she has always liked to imagine different animals that correspond to their shapes. Nowadays, gazing into the sky not only provides her inspiration for cool illustrations but also serves as a relaxing activity.
“It’s a good way to disconnect from today’s fast-paced life, and enjoy simple and beautiful things like looking up at the sky and seeing there’s a whole universe waiting to be discovered,” Ascencio shared in a recent interview with Bored Panda.

]]>Hughes often shares her encounters with foxes on social media, and the internet can’t get enough of these videos. Most of the time, the foxes gather in front of Hughes’ porch and wait until she gives them something to eat.
The first TikTok, which Hughes shared back in February, received almost 18 million views. The clip shows foxes patiently waiting for each of them to receive a sausage roll and then running away to eat it in peace.
“We are now on the fourth generation of foxes. I remember feeding their great-grandparents,” Hughes shared with British media outlet Mirror.
Hughes also watches for the medical needs of the foxes. If she notices one of them is not feeling well or is hurt, she will contact a veterinarian or slip some medicine into their food.
On the other hand, foxes show appreciation for Hughes’ generosity by bringing her gifts.
“The foxes are very friendly and often bring us gifts like mice, which they leave on the doorstep,” Hughes added.

]]>Using 144 strips of glass confined in a cube, Medicus reproduced images of lynx, bee, kingfisher, and river trout. All these animals are affected by the lack of care for the environment and ongoing climate change. They are in danger of losing their habitat and getting closer to extinction if humans don’t change their approach.
Human Animal Binary is currently displayed in Innsbruck, an Austrian mountain city that also serves as the capital of Tyrol. It will remain there for the next 12 months. The artist is also preparing a film about the project that will share more details about the process of creating the sculpture and the goal it aims to achieve.
“Human/Animal Binary was designed to last. One day the installation will stand in a different social context: as a memorial that has come true or as a relic of a time that has been overcome,” the artist explains.
If you can’t make it to Innsbruck, see what makes this “Human Animal Binary” special in the video below.

]]>Apparently, @calipolarbearcom was vacuuming her car when she received a text that her neighbor’s dog Beaver “has been crying for 10 minutes” because he wanted to come to visit and say hi to his buddies. She, of course, said yes, and it wasn’t long before Beaver came running to her garage.
After letting him in the house, @calipolarbearcom captured the moment of Beaver’s joy to see her two dogs, and it is the most adorable thing ever.
The clip of Beaver’s visit prompted some TikTok users to hope for the same relationship with their neighbors.
“I want neighbors like that one day where our dogs can just go to each others house,” @itstaybabyyy wrote.
Others wanted to see Beaver have a sleepover with his friends.
“Beaver needs a sleepover,” @.jkmsb added.
However, it turns out that Beaver and his next-door friends actually have sleepovers. @calipolarbearcom later posted a video of one of the sleepovers, and it makes the whole thing even more heartwarming.

]]>Unlike many other artists who create insect art, Okita’s works are huge in size. She designs them so they can be displayed hanging from wires, and they measure up to 9.5 inches wide and around 3.5-4.5 inches tall. Despite being made out of fabric, they are surprisingly realistic. You can be tricked into thinking you’re looking at live creatures before you get too close. How scary would it be running into such a big moth for real?
Okita sells artworks on Etsy so you can check out her store if you’re interested. Make sure to follow her on Instagram as well because her work is truly fascinating. Seeing the insects in the photos is not as scary as in-person; it’s actually quite beautiful. She only has around 6k followers for now, but we believe that people are yet to discover her talent and give her support.

]]>Eureka native Eric Lind recently shared details about the unusual event on his Facebook profile. It turned out that the “witch” was actually an owl who stole a stick horse from one of the kids in the neighborhood. The bird then decided to give the stick horse a spin, flying around and spooking more than a few people.
Lind’s post soon became viral, receiving 18K likes and getting shared more than 100K times in just a few weeks. Other FB users were mostly entertained with the video, although some of them wondered if maybe the owl was somehow “entangled” with the stick horse. Luckily, that wasn’t the case.
“We have no reason to believe this is the case as we witnessed the owl moving the horse around and even changing it’s grip on it at one point,” clarified Lind in the post. “The owl is part of a family of owls that have been in the neighborhood for about 6 months now, and this is one of the young owls.”
It appears that only the kid who lost his stick horse didn’t have fun in this situation. We do hope his parents got him a new one or that he’ll at least have many candies from trick or treating and forget about the toy.

]]>The person behind the account posts hilarious photos and clips of cats doing everyday human work. For example, there are cats at the store registers, cats posing as mall security, cats doing station-master work, and much more.
Some of the content is user-submitted from cat owners who are proud of their pets “joining” the labor market and want to share it with the rest of the world. Others are a result of profile admin’s relentless research on the internet that results in amazing finds.
For example, this photo of a cat in a full doctor outfit waiting for its next patient is simply awesome. Just take a look at that serious face waiting for you to tell it your health issues. We can guess that this cat’s solution for every medical problem is a daily dose of petting and cuddling. And honestly, it is great medical advice in our books.
