]]>People have different ways to deal with the challenges of long-distance relationships. Some are constantly chatting with their partners, others organize online dates, and then there are people, like the couple behind Choco & Pancake webcomics, who use the experience as an inspiration for creative work.
These two artists, known only as Choco and Pancake, live in two different cities, but that didn’t have a negative effect on their love. Instead, it only strengthened it and led to the creation of a series of relatable comics through which they illustrate how it’s like to be in a long-distance relationship in an amusing and relatable way.
Their works have been met with positive feedback from the social media users, prompting the couple to start thinking about creating an animated series and publishing a comic book. In the meantime, they shared the secret to maintaining a successful long-distance relationship.
“Love, patience, trust, and understanding are the ingredients to hold a relationship and make it last,” the couple reveals.

]]>However, the cute couple from Texas recently proved many wrongs. Tracy shared with her Facebook friends an image of a sandwich with a bite on it, and explained why she’s been doing it for almost 41 years.
According to her post, she has been making her husband’s lunch every working day since they’ve been married. Sometimes she would come to his job and have lunch with him, which he’d appreciate greatly. He even made a comment that lunch tasted better when it’s shared with someone you love. That’s when she came up with a brilliant idea.
“Soon after that, while fixing his sandwich one night, I took a bite out of it before putting it away. When he got home (long before cell phones) he commented that someone took a bite out of his sandwich. I told him that since I couldn’t join him for lunch, I took a bite, so he knew I was joining him,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
Can this couple be any cuter? Clearly, the people of Facebook feel the same, which is why her post currently has over 33,000 reactions and 118,000 shares.

]]>Wedding floral designer Brittany Kinney launched her brand with one goal in mind: providing a stress-free flower bouquet (because no one wants an unexpected surprise on the wedding day morning). The catch? Your bouquet will be made of artificial flowers.
According to Kinney, the idea came to her after she relyed on faux flowers in her own wedding. “When I was planning my own wedding, I met with numerous fresh florists, but quickly learned my floral-vision was quite expensive,” she explains on her website. “My mom suggested that we explore faux blooms as an alternative so that I wouldn’t have to compromise my dream look.” After being hesitant at first, she went ALL in.
According to Kinney, family and friends at her wedding had zero idea poser-blooms were surrounding them when she said her vows. Now she makes faux bouquets to other people, providing high-quality artificial flowers that look uncannily organic. Below you’ll find some examples:

]]>Back in 2015, Emily’s boyfriend decided to end their six years relationship. This came as a surprise for Emily as they were talking about settling down, not breaking things up. Naturally, she was devastated. But while others cope by staying in bed until the pain goes away, Emily decided to pack a bag. A short trip to Scotland convinced her that the best remedy for her troubles is to take on the world.
Traveling alone wasn’t just fun. It was a scary experience at first, and Emily had to deal with a lot of loneliness and uncertainty, just like she did when her boyfriend up and left. But dealing with those fears was her way through.
Today, Emily is a full-time travel blogger and completely over her ex. She uses her blog and travels both therapy and as a way to connect with others and experience the world. She’s the living proof that being alone doesn’t mean being lonely, and that traveling single can be just as much fun as being part of a duo. ]]>A pair of centenarians have proven that age ain’t nothing but a number.
John and Phyllis Cook recently got married, but unlike an ordinary pair of newlyweds, their love story started rather late in life.
The groom and bride, who live at a senior living facility in Ohio, are 100- and 103-years-old, respectively.
“To tell you the truth, we fell in love with each other. I know you think that may be a little bit farfetched for somebody our age, but we fell in love with each other,” Phyllis told WNWO.
The couple decided to tie the knot and headed to the courthouse to obtain a marriage license where they were told that they could actually get hitched on the spot. So they did.
This is the third marriage for both. And it sounds as though they’ve figured out the secret.
“We keep both of our apartments,” the bride said. “He’s upstairs, and I’m down.”
We wish them happily ever after!

]]>A woman has discovered the role she played in her ex’s life, as he chose to send her a heartfelt text the day before his wedding.
The text was sent with the bride-to-be’s knowledge and approval, and expressed gratitude to Alexsa Sanchez Aguilar for teaching him how to love — a trait his new wife will benefit from for life.
“Thank you for always encouraging me, thank you for keeping me out of trouble, thank you for the times you took care of me when I was sick, and depressed,” her ex wrote. “If you haven’t already, I hope you one day find love. If you loved me that much when we were young I can only imagine how strong and powerful your love is now.”
Aguilar said that it warmed her heart that she had helped him become a better version of himself, and decided to post the text “to show that just because things don’t work out with someone, that doesn’t mean you should have hate towards them. Regardless of everything, you were meant to be a part of that person’s life, and them, yours.”
