In some of their more recent videos, you can also spot another member of the family: a rescue pup named Cherry. “She’s very shy & timid as she had a tough life before adoption but with lots of love and patience she’s learning to trust again and she has become very attached to Maple,” Trench wrote on his Twitter page. “She’s tiny and sweet, she’s Cherry.”
You can support this musical duo on Patreon, where you’ll also be able to download mp3s of all of their music. Here are some of our favorite covers by them:

]]>The post Ukranian Band Fits an Entire Orchestra into a Single Grand Piano appeared first on TettyBetty.
]]>Ukranian Band Brunettes Shoot Blondes came up with an ingenious solution. They were looking for a way to play their song “Houston” live, but the song was originally recorded with the backing of a full orchestra!
Amazingly enough, the band’s solution was to create an entirely new instrument… which allows them to become an orchestra all by themselves. They took a grand piano, hollowed it out, and filled it up with a bunch of instruments: Violins, cello, tambourine, xylophone, castanets, and even a drum set. All in all, they fitted 20 different instruments into the piano, while still keeping some of the original keys.
The result is a masterpiece of creative engineering, and it sounds like pure magic. Of course, they could just play a simple synthesizer, but it wouldn’t quite have the same sound, and just as importantly, wouldn’t look half as cool.
Give “Houston” a listen below, and check out that piano!

]]>“I’ve been very into indoor plants lately,” he told the Urban Outfitters blog. For a long time, I had been focusing on flowers and blooms when looking for images but recently I’ve been inspired by the green foliage plants.”
“I started making paper collage work when I began taking art classes in college,” he explained. “But before that I had been doing a lot of digital collage in high school, mostly for band merch.”
Apart from his creative ventures he also has an artistic day-job, running a lifestyle brand, Valley Cruise Press, that creates art-focused accessories, apparel, and home goods. Talking about his hectic schedule, he shared: “on a normal day, I’ll get into the studio, answer some emails and start digging into some old books. I usually have 5-10 projects going at once so I’m always sourcing a lot of imagery.”
His music project, Monster Rally, blends together exotica with tropicalia and hip hop. Which, if you think about it, sounds exactly like his collage art. Take a look for yourself.

]]>Born in Oxford and currently based in Wiltshire, she sees her art as an extension of herself and her love for the earth, which makes sense judging by the number of plants and flowers that are seen throughout her work.
But in a recent series, Thielker laid aside her love of greenery and instead focused on her love of music. “The thought is to capture the music that inspires me while I create,” she explained on her Instagram page.
Her illustrations feature quilt-like interpretations of her favorite albums and musicians. “I feel like imagining up record art, being free, not overworking and not overthinking is going to be fun,” she wrote. “It’s important to create art for yourself in between client work and I’m looking forward to sharing this with you all as I go.”
