For most people, the expression “lip art” is just another way of saying that you have slapped some lipstick onto your lips. But for Vlada Haggerty, “lip art” is much more.
This Los Angeles based makeup artist is pushing the boundaries of conventional makeup styles with her unique and dazzling “lip art” that includes the use of gems, crystals, glitters and hand painted motifs. This results in astonishing works that are sometimes so complex that people have a hard time believing they are real.
Haggerty’s “lip art” is especially popular on Instagram, where she regularly uploads new creations and has close to one million followers.
