I posted another round of comics when I got back into the groove with my second boy, and now, this is a batch of cartoons that I’ve created while experimenting with digital,” Kimmerly explains.
She continues, “hope you enjoy – I draw these little cartoons and comics on my living room floor while the boys are napping or while simultaneously entertaining the youngest baby because well, #momlife.”

]]>You see, Willow is a lucky girl who has three loving parents. Her mom Sarah divorced her dad David, and is now marrying boyfriend Dylan. The way Dylan sees their whole situation is just adorable. “We have molded ourselves into one unique family, of only for the sake of our children to know the power of love,” he writes. “Not only did I gain a daughter, I gained a brother and a best friend.”
“When we care more about our children (on both sides of the party) than the way society has taught us to be towards (ex’s/baby mommas/daddy’s) then walls will fall, life will be free of hatred and remorse, and our children will conquer the foolish “norms” that media has shoved in our faces,” Dylan’s post reads.
“Willow Grace you are loved by so many people in this world and your Daddies love you!” Dylan concludes.
Below are the photos of them that Sarah took before a daddy-daughter dance. What an adorable family!

]]>No. While those things are important, the mom Toni Hammer from Portland thought she better shared some less obvious thing her daughter might not figure out on her own on time. This way, she can save her a lot of trouble.
This is a list for everyone to read, no matter how old and experienced. The insights sum up some of the most crucial things in everyone’s life.

It goes on: āI want to raise a daughter who is as confident as she is kind, who fights for those who canāt fight for themselves, who isnāt afraid to speak her mind and work hard to make the world a better place. Someone who is a lover of justice and believes change can happen.ā

]]>The post This Young Mom Missed A College Class, And Her Professorās Response Is Incredible appeared first on TettyBetty.
]]>Meet Morgan King, aĀ 21-year-old student at the University of Tennessee and a single mother of a beautiful baby girl named Korbyn. Morgan missed a very important day of school and thought for sure she was out of luck. Her professor’s response was so shocking to the world, it went viral.
Her professor’s response was so shocking to the world, it went viral.
Morgan posted a tweet mid-June that said, “toldĀ my professor I missed class yesterday because I couldn’t find childcare and this was her response. I’m literally crying. So blessed and thankful.”
A picture of Dr. Hunter’s email was attached.
Dr. Sally B. Hunter is a professor in the department of Child and Family Studies at the University of Tennessee where Morgan attends. Her response to Morgan’s unique situation has made her famous overnight.
Dr. Hunter claims she’s shocked that a reaction like hers would be such a rarity. “I feel like it was a really normal thing to do,” she said.
Two weeks after Morgan first posted the tweet, it had 26,000 likes, 5,000 retweets and was being reported on new sites everywhere.
Even Beverly Davenport, the Chancellor of the University of Tennessee, had something to say about it: “Morgan, thanks for showing us challenges college students face. ProfessorĀ Hunter, thanks for being part of the solution.”
The widespread attention this story receivedĀ is proof we all need to do better by one another. In an interview with local news outlet WBIR, Dr. Hunter explained how her professors had done this very thing for her as a young mom in graduate school. Way to pass it on, Dr. Hunter.
Morgan goes to school full-time and works nights. Yes, her story is shared by so many other mothersābut there’s one aspect of her story that sets her apart, making her even more remarkable. Morgan lost herĀ mother five months before she found out she was pregnant.
After Korbyn’s birth, not only was she struggling with childcare costs, but the sadness of her mother’s deathĀ and absenceĀ weighed on her heavily. Hats off to you, Morgan, for being so strong.
Infant care where Morgan lives costs almost three-quarters as much as the tuition she pays for college. There need to be more professorsĀ like Dr. Hunter, who recognize the significantĀ hindrances for single parents to attend college and who offer themselves to be solutions to those hindrances.
Morgan’s story continues to go viral, inspiring so many other young parents to finish their degrees and to not be afraidĀ to take hold of a hand that’s extended to them.

]]>The post This Expecting Mom Caught The Attention Of A Tiger At The Zoo, And Itās So Adorable appeared first on TettyBetty.
]]>This is, in fact, one of the great benefits of pet ownership for many. It’s more than companionshipāit’s about finding a little creature that shares life with you while seemingly sharing your emotional wavelength. You take care of their needs and in turn, they take care of yours.
Now, there is no point in time where we would suggest keeping a tiger as a pet. Not only would this be incredibly expensive, but it’s also very much illegal in most parts of the world. Then there’s the little matter of you know, being eaten by your pet.
However, it’s worth thinking about captive tigers in a similar context to pets. A tiger in a zoo andĀ a pet share similar relationships with humans. A person is providing food,Ā care, and moreāso why shouldn’t a tiger display a similar empathic response as a pet would?
Well, the jury is still out on tigersĀ and their actual maternal instincts. While there have been cases in zoos of tigers becoming wildly distressed when separated from newborn cubs, there have also been plenty of cases where female tigers have rejected their own young.
Brittany Smith-Osborne recently took a trip to the zoo with her friends. This story wouldn’t normally be news if she and her friends hadn’t visited the tiger enclosure at Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, Indiana.
One of Brittany’s friends is Natasha. What makes Natasha stand out in this story, at least, is the fact that she is 27 weeks pregnant.
Given that the tigers are kept safely behind glass with no way to access the public at all, Natasha felt that she would be perfectly safe to approach the tiger enclosureāand this is what happened.
Firstly, the female tiger comes up against the glass and is happy to pose for a selfie with Natasha. Then the tiger begins to paw the glass in a playful manner which delights Natasha further.
After a while, the tiger then notices that Natasha is quite visibly pregnant and does a kind of double take. The tiger then goes into full on action proving without a doubt that this tiger has a mothering instinct.
She begins to cuddle the baby bump through the glass. It’s a truly heart warming moment and one which delights both Natasha and her friends.
The good news is that this moment was caught on film by Brittany and she was happy to share it with the world. You can find the video on YouTube here and you can make up your own mind about tiger’s mothering instincts based on the evidence before you.
