Stephanie is a mother of two adorable kids, a toddler and a newborn. She started her blog, Modern Day Wonderland, to have a time for herself and do whatever she thinks her “day needs a little more of.” It features her favorite stuff like recipes, cocktails, crafts, and some hilarious letter board quotes about the ups and downs of parenting.
She wants to show to everyone that being a mom isn’t as glamorous as we sometimes see in the picture perfect Instagram world. Some days are just about survival and good coffee. Take a look at her funny and witty quotes to live by.
Happy Monday Mamas,☕ Just wanted to say, your all awesome and this is going to be a great week so go out there and kick some ass! . Let me clarify, not literal ass. Especially since we are all trying to teach our kids to keep their hands to themselves…or in my case teeth, anyone else have a biter?😒 . Side not-I wonder if I'm allowed to say ass on IG….hmmm pretend I spelt it as *a$$* everytime. 😉 #awordfrommama
Dancing into the weekend like it's…the weekend? Now can somebody please convince my kids to sleep in tomorrow. . *Sorry guys I know this was posted earlier, but for some reason My IG account was acting up and I had to delete it.* . So if you loved it before I hope you still love it now! Xo #awordfrommama
Ok mom's I'm dropping a major truth bomb on you today. . You know all those Instagram mom's you see with clean houses, the perfect kids, and that extra bouncy shiny hair? I can guarantee you that is not an actual glimpse into their real lives. . Sometimes looking at a beautifully curated feed can have us second guessing ourselves. But trust me, that tiny human who created absolute destruction on your living room this morning, already looks up at you thinking your perfectly awesome just the way you are. . So let's stop comparing ourselves to others and start loving our crazy non-perfect lives a little bit more. XO #awordfrommama
Did any other mamas out there have trouble finding themselves again after making tiny humans? . I know it took me a while to find beauty in the bags under my eyes and stretch marks on my stomach, but just because it's not glamorized on the front cover of Cosmo doesn't mean that it's not absolutely beautiful. . Today I'm curious about your thoughts on how society is viewing motherhood. So please comment, DM, or head over to my stories and answer my poll. Trust me there is zero judgement coming from over here. Xo . P.s. Don't worry I'll be back to my usual sarcastic self tomorrow 😉 #awordfrommama
