This Guy Only Wears Historical Clothes

When Zack Pinsent from East Sussex, realized that his great-grandfather’s old suits perfectly matched his looks, he decided to dress like he’s from the 1820s.

“At 14, I made the symbolic decision to burn my only pair of jeans in a bonfire. It was a real turning point,” he said according to Unilad. “On non-school uniform days I would dress in three-piece suits, but when I got to sixth form I started to dress in historical clothing every single day,”

Instead of buying his clothes, Pinsent creates his own outfits with some of his creations taking up to a year to complete.

He’s known for wearing a top hat and cane when he’s out shopping in Brighton but during ordinary days, he’ll wear a pair of knee-high leather riding boots, a floral waistcoat, and a matching riding jacket with long tails.

Pinsent’s unique vintage style is often complimented by people not just from his hometown but from people everywhere including his 248k followers on Instagram. “The response is almost always completely positive, and genuinely lovely. And it isn’t just a Brighton thing, I’ve been all over the world and people are inquisitive and appreciative.”
