Virtual Model Looks So Human and is Taking the Fashion World By Storm

Meet Imma, a Japanese virtual model created by CG company ModelingCafe. She is named after the Japanese word “ima,” which means “now,” and she definitely embodies the modern technology today.

She looks like a real fashion model and is now making a name in the fashion industry, gracing the cover of CGWorld magazine. She also has her own Instagram and Twitter accounts. “I’m interested in Japanese culture and film, movie. I want to attract humans to the fashion show,” she wrote.

Each of Imma’s photos is rendered by transposing her 3D animated head onto a live-action body and realistic background. From her skin to her pink hair, everything seems so human. And we wonder what the future will be like if these computer generated models are now transformed into human form.
