Gavin Aung Than is a cartoonist from Melbourne, Australia. Known as zenpencils on social media, this young man quit his unfulfilling, 8-year long job in a design industry corporate and focused on his true passion, drawing cartoons.
He launched Zen Pencils, a cartoon blog, at the beginning of 2012, and thanks to his decision, he is now living the dream.
However, his cartoons are different from others; he adapts inspirational quotes into the comic stories. From poets to presidents, comedians to colonels – anyone who inspires him, challenges his way of thinking, wakes him up or just makes him laugh.
