Do you need a new set of plates for your kitchen? Well, don’t look further than the ones made by design studio Lorier. This Netherlands-based studio recently presented a new plate design, City Plate, which is both functional and can be viewed as an art piece.
City Plate is a series of porcelain plates whose look is inspired by some of the world’s most notable cities like New York, San Francisco, Paris, London, Berlin, Sydney, and Amsterdam. Each plate contains a city’s unique shape and some of its main architectural landmarks.
If you pick London, for example, you’ll get Big Ben, Tower Bridge, London Eye, and River Thames to go alongside your food. This opens a lot of decorating options that will be perfect for people who like to play with their food.
