Artist Creates Shirt Prints With Street Tiles and Manhole Covers

Art comes in different forms. One of the most special forms is street printing using tiles and manhole covers. This artist, known as Raubdruckerin, on Instagram, has become famous for his innovative art from printing designs on shirts with tiles found on the streets.

This talented street artist started the project as an experiment and makes use of urban structures such as grids, manhole covers, technical objects as well as other surfaces found in urban areas.

These items are used to create unique patterns on fabrics, streetwear basics and paper. The artworks are unique because they are hand printed on the site which is usually in the public space. This gives the art a footprint of the city.

The artist is based in Berlin and has pieces from his city while also working in other cities like Lisbon, Amsterdam and Paris.
