Upgrade Your Wardrobe With Fruit-Based Accessories

Layla Alter admits she’s very childish at heart. “I’m very connected to my younger self,” she told Teen Vogue. Which makes sense, judging by her jewelry brand Alterita.

Launched in 2018 and based in NYC, Alterita is known for its fun, beachy designs, and fresh feminine themes. Her newest collection features glass charms handmade locally by artist Mariko Makino at Brooklyn Glass studio.

“I was like, ‘What would I want to wear on the beach?’ I want to be wearing lemons. I want a headband,” she said, in regards to her latest collection. And so – a fruit-based jewelry collection was born. And with lemon necklaces and cherry earrings, naturally, it was all the rage.

Take a look at some of her eye-popping designs in the gallery below. Would you dare rock any of her accessories?
