Reynolds decided to go first and presented a moving video for Jackman’s Laughing Man Coffee Company which celebrated X-Men star’s efforts in helping out communities in developing countries with his brand.
“Can a cup of coffee be a superhero? Because Laughing Man beans are born with a special power.” – says Reynolds in a voiceover before mentioning all the great things the brand has done.
After seeing the ad and learning that it had a cost of $1 million, Hugh Jackman was shocked and ended up trying to avoid showing his ad for Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation American Gin. Still, Reynolds insisted.
The ad showed Jackman sitting on a couch and calling Deadpool star names, before tipping over the bottle of Aviation American Gin and letting it pour across the table.
“Sorry man, I didn’t think the truce was actually real,” – Jackman said after seeing devastated look on Reynolds’ face.
