We could all use some more vegetables in our daily life, but Lex Bouquet is taking things to a whole new level. The artist behind this project became a viral sensation on Instagram thanks to her quirky vegetable jewelry.
Lex’s official website says she’s “deeply connected with green” and has “a passion with still life.” This is obvious in pretty much everything she creates because she draws inspiration from nature in a truly unique way.
Many of the photos on her Instagram page lexsowet feature some of our favorite green veggies, including broccoli, lettuce, and celery. She also takes photos with fruits and flowers, but nothing compares to her line of vegetable jewels.
Cabbages, peppers, and eggplants are some of the vegetables that inspired her to make jewelry that perfectly walks the line between stylish and downright hilarious. It’s certainly not something most people would wear on a daily basis, but Lex found a way to pull it off.
