]]>The 27-year-old Florida-based woman has been living with her husband since 2015, and for the last six years, she’s been cleaning after him. But not anymore. She picked up the camera and started a “document series” titled Wife Strike.
“I knew there had to be people out there with these husband and cohabiter woes. I realized that I was not alone and that I was conditioned to silently clean up after my husband that he literally forgets he ever left a mess behind,” she said in an interview for Bored Panda.
Unfolded laundry, the laundry basket full of dirty clothes, shoes and socks left everywhere, dirty toilet seat, and more uncleaned stuff can be seen in the videos. But after some time, Jaile’s husband made small improvements.
“I think the overall message is setting in. However, I’m thinking a week-long is not enough, and I will follow through until the areas of concern are addressed. So hopefully, he gets the full scope of what I do,” she added.

]]>Even big names in the illustration world are following her journey, like, for example, the couple behind the Instagram account called Hubman and Chubgirl, or Jang and Fox.
The 16-year-old Cheah’s artistic journey began in her early teenage years when she was only 13 years old. Her aesthetic is simple, and it’s incredibly entertaining for her fans to watch her style develop.
“If you have been following me for a while now, you would know that I am incredibly inconsistent with my drawing style. I guess that’s because I’m exploring my character design,” she shared on Bored Panda.
She also described her works as “comics about being lazy and watching anime because that’s all I am.”
Art is all about expressing oneself and sending a message, and doing so in a way that feels therapeutic. Clearly, Cheah’s doing so in a way that resonates with others!

]]>After one week, the sock was still there. That’s when Cambell decided to have some fun. She made a miniature label making the sock a piece of artwork done by her daughter herself. But she didn’t expect such a creative “answer” from her kid. And that’s how their little game started.
“My daughter and I have a wonderful, communicative relationship,” the mom wrote on her Facebook profile. “We are very silly together and understand the importance of being ridiculous and absurd. I honestly did not expect this post to go viral—it was just another silly thing we did.”
The hilarious post soon went viral, where it has reached over 55,000 reactions and 136,000 shares. Moved by people’s reactions, Campbell asked her followers to donate to an organization called Jumping Mouse Children’s Centre that does play-based therapy with children who have gone through some kind of trauma.

According to Vincent, his artwork is mostly about intimate objects that come into his life.
“That’s because I have always, especially as a child, personified things around me,” he added. “And since a lot of my comics are about everyday objects, many people can strongly relate to them. Some comics might even change how you look at all the everyday objects around you.”

]]>“Ultimately I want my illustrations to have the same kind of impact that a great Mitch Hedberg one-liner joke has,” Alcala reflected in an interview with Amadeus Magazine. “Really simple, hits you hard on contact, yet can stick with you for a really long time.”
But creating a one-liner joke is harder than it seems, and Alcala admits his process entails a lot sketching beforehand. “It might not look like it because my illustrations tend to be pretty simple, but the most simple drawing could have hundreds of sketches beforehand,” he says. “A lot of it is just boiling down ideas until the drawings are totally efficient.”
Based in Miami, FL, his work has also grabbed the attention of commercial brands, with his clients including brands as big as Apple, Nike, and The New Yorker. In these bleak times, his illustrations might just be the ray of sunshine your feed needed.
