“The Washington Post” Cartoonist Creates Uncomfortable Illustrations

Being in a relationship isn’t as easy as it seems. It’s not just about liking each other and deciding to become a couple, it is the collision of two different universes. And one Virginia-based artist decided to transform these hilarious moments into illustration.

Nick Galifianakis is a cartoonist who uses his talent to create humorous artworks about “pain of dating, mothers-in-law, ‘beneficial’ friends” and much more fun things. However, the artist doesn’t always receive positive feedback about his black-and-white drawings, especially from married couples, maybe because his work is usually “uncomfortable, but true”.

According to his Instagram account, Galifianakis has also been working with The Washington Post for more than 20 years and is the author of the book titled If You Loved Me, You’d Think This Was Cute: Uncomfortably True Cartoons About You where he gathered his best artworks.

On his social media account, he has gathered only 4.5K followers, however, we are sure the numbers will grow more.

Scroll down and check out some of his creations. Did they made you uncomfortable or made you smile?
