She didn’t finish high school or higher professional education. Instead, she taught herself.
“I mastered oil painting on my own, however, as well as the science of composition—and I still study. The self-taught path is difficult, full of pitfalls and controversial information, but incredibly exciting,” the artist shared.
“The choice of subjects, and I am asked about this very often, did not stand in front of me: I was always drawn by the image of a small town and a small person. And a combination of incongruous in our time,” she added.
Currently based in Moscow, Chudakova showcases her artworks on her Instagram page. There, she has attracted over 60,000 followers.

]]>Sadly, florist Murielle Marcenac was forced to make the hard decision and to put a “closed temporarily” sign on her flower salon. But instead of being sad and devastated, she decided to bring smiles to people’s faces in a different way.
Recently, she made a trip to Perpignan hospital located in France, and surprised its essential workers by placing a beautiful bouquet on their cars.
“I had to make a decision, and I didn’t want to waste the flowers. Instead of crying, I told myself that we had to make people smile, especially at times like these,” Marcenac told Huffpost.
She also added that she plans on surprising other hospitals as well: “They thank me for my support and my approach because at the moment it’s complicated. They need it, we have to support each other at times like these and not get angry.”
What a lovely surprise, right? Have you done something special during these difficult times?

]]>Located in the well-known Tokaj Wine Region, these small houses are wine cellars. As you can see, they bear a strong resemblance to “hobbit holes” that can be seen in the Tolkien trilogy films. The area, which has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002, produces one of Hungary’s best wines.
There are around 80 fairytale-looking cellars carved into Gombos Hill, made of volcanic rock, and according to some documents, these triangular objects belong to each house in a village called Hercegkut.
The temperature in the cellars varies between 50-52 °F and the mold that covers the cellars helps to maintain the centuries-old quality of Tokaji wines.
If you ever consider visiting Hungary, you shouldn’t miss these picturesque landscapes and objects protruding from the hills.
The fact that it’s a place where wine is kept is yet another way that it can be compared to that of the Shire. After all, if there’s one activity that hobbits love engaging in, it’s drinking alcohol and having a merry old time.

Despite having an artistic background, she wasn’t originally interested in art. Instead, she graduated with a degree in biology and Christian studies. However, after being pregnant with her first child, something inspired her to get into embroidery.
“Currently my style would fit into the modern embroidery category, which is really fun and super teachable,” she said in an interview for Embellished Talk. “I would love to explore outside of that and get into the technical styles and the rich history of embroidery.”
Nelson currently has more than 20,000 Instagram followers and almost 800 posts. To see some of her hoops and creations, check out the gallery below. You can also explore her website, where you can find helpful tutorials and beautiful photographs.

]]>As the pandemic happened and the countries went in total lockdown, the struggles began to hit. One of the most significant questions was: “How do I continue educating children out of a classroom?” 11 months later, things are the same as they were one year ago.
To “celebrate” the one-year mark of the pandemic and online learning, Rose decided to share all the pros and cons of teaching during COVID-19.
“From the magic of the ‘mute all’ button to the horrors of brown sink water, take a look at life in a school from the people who are trying their best to run the show as normally as they can (or at least not add more trauma to the children),” she shared in a statement for Bored Panda.
However, alongside her pandemic-related-teaching, she also depicts events from the time everything was normal and classes were held in the classroom.
