88 Artists Look Up to the Sky at the Same Time and Paint What They See

Last summer, on August 13, exactly at 12:00 pm EST, 88 artists all over the planet looked up to the sky above them and painted what they saw. This experiment was organized by @WomenWhoDraw and the final result is much more interesting and diverse than anyone expected.

With the artists being located in Europe, America, Asia, etc., it’s natural that they all saw something different. Some saw clear blue skies, others saw gray clouds and rain, while some only saw darkness and stars. That’s exactly what makes this project unique and fabulous – the fact that all the perspectives were different at the exact same moment. See some of the entries below and the rest of them here.
