CarLy Haney has a very unique passion; she loves tarantulas. The 28-year-old artist from Spokane, Washington, creates baroque and gothic wall mounts out of taxidermied spiders.
“I mounted my first spider in the spring of 2014, and since have created over 100 pieces, all one of a kind and different than the last”, Carly shared on designyoutrust. “My work has become somewhat recognizable among my city, and though it does not appeal to everyone, the spiders draw big reactions and create a stir to any group who encounter them.”
Carly’s shares her creations on her Instagram account and has an Esty store as well, where she sells all of her taxidermied spiders.
