We all loved to play hairdressers with our Barbie dolls, but unfortunately, most of the time, the hairdressing ended ingloriously, right?
Well, there’s one artist who does it more successfully.
Rafinha Silva is a Brazilian artist best known for his hyper-realistic custom Barbie dolls. His project started back in 2013 when his admiration for Amy Winehouse pushed him to create a doll replica of her.
The Royal Dolls makeover starts with the list of characteristics that the client asks for. Rafinha then removes the existing paint of the Barbie’s face, colors and cuts her hair, or puts on hair extensions. He even uses a little curling wand and a hair straightener to style her hair properly. What a luxurious makeover, right?
Nowadays, the We Love the Royal Dolls Instagram page has more almost 730k admirers, including celebrities.
