Suyoun Kang or Soo.K is a Korean concept artist, recently presented a brand new series of works titled “Chess Series” in which she reimagined chess pieces as persons. According to Soo.K, her primary goal was to create a unique artwork in which she would combine the traditional understanding of chess figures with her own interpretation.
She also put a great emphasis on the clash of black and white color, which is one of the main characteristics of the chess game.
