Lynell Jinks is a 42-year-old artistic and creative director, who creates amazing works of art on his kids’ brown paper lunch bags. Recently, he went viral after former US President Barack Obama praised his works on Father’s Day, posting it on his Instagram page.
The “BrownBagArt,” started about five years ago when his now 11-year-old son Izaac, was going on a field trip. “My wife said I should draw his name on the bag. I drew Iron Man but instead wrote Izaac Man,” Jinks shared.
According to the proud father, his daughter Zelina, 12, was quite shy at school so he also drew some fun characters on her lunch bag too. “I drew Monster High on her bag as an ice breaker and conversation starter,” he said.
Now it became a regular thing and his children appreciate the stunning illustrations with inspirational messages that their dad writes on the bags and they have kept every single one after they use them for their lunch.
