Holidays are all about spending time with family and friends while taking a break from everything. But not everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this time of the year with their closest ones for various reasons. For example, Delta Air Lines flight attendant Pierce T. Vaughan had to spend Christmas time working and helping other people make their trip to their homes in time for holidays. However, her dad Hal Vaughan decided to do something about it. He booked all six flights that Pierce was scheduled to work in order to keep her company.
People probably wouldn’t know about this heartwarming story if it wasn’t for Mike Levy, who sat beside Vaughan on one of the flights and shared his story on Facebook.
“I had the pleasure of sitting next to Hal on my flight back home. His daughter Pierce was our flight attendant who had to work over Christmas.” – Levy wrote. “Hal decided he would spend the holiday with her. So, he is flying on each of her flights today and tomorrow around the country to spend time with his daughter for Christmas. What a fantastic father! Wish you both a very Merry Christmas!”
Pierce T. Vaughan later revealed that her dad made the trip using travel benefits, meaning he didn’t have a guaranteed place on the flights and had to fly on standby on each one. Luckily for Hal, he made each flight and managed to spend the holidays with his daughter.
