Erika Iris uses old cassette tapes to create her art. She uses the magnetic tape inside the cassette to create amazing portraits. We absolutely love it because it combines awesome aesthetic with recycling. The finished pieces have a strong vintage vibe because she often leaves the tapes visible.
“I enjoy making art out of unexpected materials. And I love a challenge,” the artist states on her website. Her work served as an inspiration for Bruno Mars’ Just the Way You Are music video.
