One day, florist Geoffroy Mottart decided that the public monuments in his hometown of Brussels could use a makeover. So, he began creating beautiful arrangements like flower crowns and beards, which he occasionally installs on statues all over the city.
He explains on his website: “My job as a florist gives me the opportunity to give a new life, a new breath of originality to these forgotten statues, which no longer arouse the interest of the passer-by, while blooming public places.”
Unfortunately, his creations don’t last long and get taken down after a few days, but Mottart manages to snap a few photos before that and share them with his Instagram followers.
