OakOak is a French street artist who has been turning the streets of his native St. Etienne and other cities in France into beautiful works of art for many years now.
Most of his clever art pieces consist of small but well-placed characters and objects that do not intervene too much with the way things are on the street and by adding few lines and colors, he gives the streets an element of surprise.
OakOak said he’s just a “pen pusher” by day and when he’s not busy, he redecorates the streets throughout the country. His works interacts well with the surroundings, giving various urban designs witty and playful meanings.
He continues to fill the streets of France with his artistic ideas and recently, he transforms crosswalks into fun characters that draws attention not only by people walking by but also to the drivers.
